Look What I did!

O.K. everyone hold onto your seats...... but I attempted some salt dough bowl fillers last night. I read up on every recipe that was out there I think. I have seen better but I'm just glad that I attempted them and they turned out A- O.K. I'm proud of them and i know i will get better with them the more that I do. It also has given me the confidence to go ahead and try some stitching.(Little baby steps) I also want to try the candy canes, the grudge silicone lights, the grudge taper candles, the grudge candlesticks, the grudge EVERYTHING LOL LOL. Here are some pics that I attempted to take as I was going thru the process.

Here they are just came out of the oven.I wish the picture was clearer Sorry!!

Here is the wax in the coffee can in a double boiler.

Here is some drying

And the finished product.I wish I had taken better pics. Oh yeah, and this grubby jar I made a couple of weeks ago. I got this idea from Char!
Anyways, I wanted to share this with all my friends.

I won't be on here until late Sunday or Monday. My DH is taking me ATV"ing in Georgia this weekend. We will be leaving tonight. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. And I hope I win the Giveaways!! LOL-Juanita

Great Job!! I learned from Robin over at the Robin's Nest about a setting on the camera called Macro and it is for close up shots like that. It helps with the focus. Thought I'd share! :-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend away!
