I wanted to share with you all this beautiful goodie that I found.
It is a sampler that has been stitched and also painted. I do not know how old this is and that was not a concern for me because when I seen it I fell in love with it.
I paid $20 dollars for it at the antique store I go to.
Wht do you think?
It says..
A Friendly Welcome
Tea with you- just for two
Beside the cherry heart
A pleasant word some gossip heard
A little harmless mirth
So I decided to do a little stitching myself with also some painting.
I got this from Neenee's blog TheKrazyKraftLady's Blog
she has such wonderful ideas on her site and I am so glad I came across her blog.
These were so easy to make! We are having a ladies retreat the first weekend of October for the ladies of our church and I was asked to come up with a craft and I believe I will be doing this one. So thanks Char!
Well, I am enjoying my time with my grandchildren and Robbie Jr. made it overseas safe. So thank you for all your prayers and please keep him in your prayers. I love you all and Have a Blessed day!

Hi Juanita - I'm so happy your son made it safely.
Adorable pumpkins and I enlarged your stitchery picture and it's really beautiful.

Hi Juanita,
Love the pumpkins! I've made a few white ones out of warm and natural fabric. I've never seen a stitchery that was also painted. How pretty! I love the pumpkin stitchery you did too! Hugs, Loretta
What a great idea..something a little different!!! thanks for sharing. Dianntha
Juanita I love that sampler. I have seen several like that too but they were a lot more pricey than yours. Great job on the pumpkins.
