We had to catch a ferry to get to the island. The only means of transportation is golf carts or bikes.
This is my SIL beautiful vacation home there. And also she has what is called a "crofter" over the garage. WE call it the guest house.

Oh my gosh, Juanita!! My sister has a villa at Bald Head! What a small world!! We usually go over spring break. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The kids get a little bored because there really isn't anything for them to do. Did you know that Bill Cower (former Steelers coach), Howie Long and Patrick Swaze own homes there, also? We ran into Cower a couple of years ago in the market! He was very nice.
