A Day At The Farm!

We had a wonderful day last week at the farm with our grandchildren. And I wanted to take a moment and share a few pics with you all. Now, there are alot of pics so just sit back and enjoy!










This is a pic of the farmhouse itself. This is my DH boss's home. And it is a beautiful home. They have been asking Robbie to bring the grandchildren here to their home to see all their pets. So last week Thursday we decided to take them up on their offer. And here we go....



This is Pop Pop showing the children all the goats.
Whew! And there was alot of them!

































Of course everywhere they went "Winnery" was right behind them! Winnery is one of the 15 dogs they have.















Here is Anna Rae trying to feed one of the goats.



















And one of their sheep they have.














Here is Pop Pop holding Samuel while he fed the goats. He wanted him to warm up to them before he tried to feed them.

And it didn't take Samuel long before he was feeding them.

And here we are making a pit stop at Dunkin Donuts getting some orange springled icing donuts. You know they enjoyed these! Of course me and mommy tried their Pumpkin Latte and it was yummy!

A Few Pics Of My Home

I know I have not shared any pics of my home since last year. So I wanted to take this opportunity to do so at this time. It has came a long way since the beginning and I owe that all to you all! Thank you all for being such inspirations to me. I love you all!




















These are a few pics of my entry way into our home.We just installed a new door and am wanting to put hardwood floors through out our Entryway, LR, DR and kitchen. Right now we have carpeting. Also, we are contemplating on what color to paint our walls. So much to do with so little money!










These are a few items in my LR.
The hayrides sign was a swap I did with Char. Isn't it a wonderful sign!?
And the pic with the wool sheep sign is one I bought from Janae-I LOVE IT ALSO!! Sorry about the tissue box in the 3rd pic! Had some nose wiping to do around here! LOL!!

A Day Of Sharing

I thought I would share with you all a few of my favorite sites that I frequent often. As much as I love my prim sites I also like to visit some "good 'ol cook'n sites"
I will mention 2 of my favorites today and I encourage you to go on over and visit them. They both have some wonderful recipes that every one in my family enjoy. So I hope you all do also.


The first one is Mommy's Kitchen
Tina has shared such wonderful recipes like her southern biscuits....if yours turn out like hockey pucks each time you need to try these. They have came out perfect each time I have made them and my family raves about them. Also her recipe for chocolate cobbler...YUMMY!! Need I say more???? But hey anyone who loves Paula Deen always gets checks in my book!








Then there is Starr and she has a wonderful site called Cooking With The Preacher's Wife she is a Baptist preachers wife ...NEED I SAY MORE???? After 28 years of being a pastors wife you know she has alot of good ones.She also gives tips and has tablescapes and so much more!! So many wonderful ideas.

So p[lease go check them out and I hope you cook up some yummy recipes!
Also before I go I wanted to Thank you all for your prayers for Anna Rae and Samuel. They both were diagnosed with the croup and are almost over this. It has been a long past few weeks but we are loving every moment with them! Have a blessed day!

Yucky!!

O.k I needed to get on here and let everyone know that I am behind on my blogging and I apologize. We have some children around here that have some YUCKY SICKNESS!!
Samuel was taken to the emergency room Sunday and was diagnosed with the CROOP and Anna Rae was up all night last night with a high fever and vomiting.
So needless to say it has not been very good around here. Please keep them in your prayers and as soon as things get better I will be posting. But in the meantime I am still visiting you all. (You all are my shining stars though it all!)Have a blessed day!
