Wow I can't believe this is the 2nd week in November.I can't wait for Christmas. But I have so much to do.

Right now I wanted to show you what I have been working on. It is my first stitchery. I still have to put buttons and bows on it and then make it into a pillow. Please remember I have never done anything like this before so please be gentle with me! LOL
I really want to try and make all of my Christmas gifts handmade. But we will see.

I also wanted to let everyone know about a new Giveaway.
Shannon over at http://www.cowgirlprimitives.blogspot.com
is having a Happy Holiday giveaway.Look at how cute this is. Go on over and check out her site and sign up for this wonderful giveaway.

Also, Abbie of the Handmade Quilter is giving away a beautiful handmade quilt on November 14th. The quilt will be specially made of the colors of your choice.

If you enjoy quilts and vintage fabrics, you'll want to visit Abbie!

Well, I have to go for now and get on my housework.I hope everyone has a blessed day!

Juanita, your stitchery is just perfect! How pretty it will be with buttons & bows! I'm so happy for it. I find stitching so relaxing and, of course, there is the joy of creating gifts for those we love.

Can't wait to see what you cook up next!

Blessings,
Lea

I love that stitchery! I just today finished up a santa, now I have to frame it. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting, I really appreciate it! I see in one of your posts you are from Virginia. I lived in Hampton for 7 years! I loved it there and I miss visiting Williamsburg. Take care! ~Beth~

I have never done stitchery either, but I would love to try this.
I really want to make some homemade gifts too...I'm just not talented in the home made gift department but I guess I should jump in and try...:)

Hi Juanita...I posted yesterday on this post but it's not here.... I do love the stitchery and can't wait to see it finished. I want to do this kind of needlework but just don't have the time right now so will enjoy what all of you are so wonderfully making.
